A weakened spawn is found by a young boy named Andy Frank. Andy manages, with the help of Spawns living chains, to pull Spawn to a shed in his backyard. Spawn then gets to meet the boy's older brother Eddie Frank and learns about the boy's abusive father. Apparently the father is a well respected citizen in the eyes of his town, but at home he's a drunken monster. Once spawn recovers, he leaves the father with a message and a few scars.
