Somewhere in the Arctic, a mysterious man named Lazarus is leading a business man named Ratzenberg to a rendezvous, in order to persuade him to invest in a new project. After both philosophise, Lazarus tells Ratzenberg about a race of transforming warriors who arrived on Earth millions of years ago. Lazarus' excavation team reach their goal, and Lazarus explains to Ratzenberg the possibilities of controlling such warriors. As the pair reach the site, the workers uncover the dormant Soundwave. Ratzenberg is impressed enough to invest on the spot.
